Prior to joining McKee Morgan, he served as a Law Clerk for the Bangor District and Superior Courts. A Maine native, he was born in Saco, and briefly lived in western New York before returning to Boothbay Harbor with his mother and three brothers.

Kurt is an associate attorney at McKee Morgan Attorneys. He joined the firm in 2019 after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice Joseph M. Jabar of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. Kurt’s focus is on litigation. Kurt graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Legal Studies. During his final undergraduate semester, he worked with the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project assisting low-income individuals with obtaining legal advice on family legal issues.

A Maine native, he graduated with distinction from Saint Francis Xavier University and earned his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law. Liam developed a keen interest in criminal law during law school, interning at various legal offices. His courtroom experience includes co-authoring a successful brief for the Law Court and handling arraignments, dispositional conferences, and trial preparations.
